GROUP AGILITY TRAINING


Group training will focus on the group completing multiples drills to improve their skills set. This is also a great opportunity for team building.  Group training can be hosted at an indoor facility in-between Centreville and Church Hill or outdoors at one of the local Parks.  Items that will be worked on during the trainings:

  • Speed
  • Agility
  • Lateral movement
  • Conditioning


For ages  9 and up.  $20 per session.

We're excited to introduce another outstanding athletic trainer for The FieldHouse... Thomas Goldsborough!


Thomas brings an incredible resume and wealth of experience to our team:

  • Former 3-year starter at Kent County High School.
  • Three-time All-Conference QB and 2021 1A Offensive Player of the Year.
  • Played quarterback at Division I, II, and III levels.
  • Rowan University record holder for the longest touchdown pass in school history (97 yards).
  • Named 2023 Week 2 NJAC Offensive Player of the Week.
  • 3.9 GPA student, balancing academics and athletics with excellence.

FOOTBALL TRAINING CAMP

College athletes from Duke, Frostburg State University, Bridgewater College,Kent State and Shepherd University will be training your child.  Plus the Baltimore Ravens undrafted free agent, Ja'Mion Franklin, from North Caroline High School. 


Position-Specific Training:

  • Quarterbacks (QB): Improve your passing accuracy, footwork, decision-making, and leadership skills. Learn how to read defenses, execute perfect throws, and become the commanding presence your team needs.
  • Running Backs (RB): Focus on agility, vision, ball security, and blocking. Learn how to make decisive cuts, accelerate through gaps, and protect the ball in high-pressure situations.
  • Wide Receivers (WR): Master route running, catching techniques, and footwork to become a reliable target for your QB. Work on improving your hands, separation skills, and creating mismatches with defenders
  • Offensive Linemen (OL): Develop proper hand placement, footwork, and communication with your fellow linemen to dominate the trenches.
  • Defensive Linemen (DL): Improve pass-rushing techniques, hand fighting, and gap control. Learn how to read offensive linemen, shed blockers, and disrupt plays in the backfield.
  • Linebacker (LB): Will be working on first step, getting off the block, flowing down hill and pass drop.
  • Defensive Backs (DB): Focus on footwork, coverage skills, and ball tracking. Learn how to read the QB, anticipate routes, and become a playmaker in the secondary.

Camp Highlights:

  • Personalized coaching from experienced trainers and coaches

  • Valuable feedback to refine technique and enhance performance.

DEFENSIVE LINEMAN TRAINING


This two-session training is designed to help your child enhance their skills and excel at the Defensive Lineman position. Led by Jai Roy, an athlete from Kent State University, this program will focus on essential techniques and strategies for becoming an exceptional defensive lineman. 


Jai brings an impressive athletic background and expertise to our team:

🔹 Current student-athlete at Kent State University (Division 1), playing OLB/DE on an athletic scholarship.

🔹 All-State Defensive End in his senior year at QACHS.

🔹 Three-time First Team All-Conference Defensive End.

🔹 Two-time All-Conference Tight End.

🔹 Competed in the invite-only Under Armour Next Camp.

🔹 Participated in the  prestigious Big 33 Team.


Jai’s dedication and passion for the game are unmatched, and we can’t wait for him to share his knowledge and skills.


Registration fee of $100 covers both training sessions on January 3rd and 10th.  Trainings are located indoors, so space is limited.  Please make sure your child brings water and wears approiapte clothing and shoes.

PREVIOUS 2024 SUMMER CAMP

The Fieldhouse Athletic Training and Queen Anne’s County Parks and Recreation presented a Youth Football Camp in Queen Anne’s County. The campers worked with college players from Towson, Frostburg, and Stevenson along with Coaches from The FieldHouse Athletic Training team with over 95 years of coaching experience. The camp was broken down by position; Quarterback, Wide Receivers, Offensive Lineman, Running Backs, Defensive Lineman, Linebackers, and Secondary. Each Camper had the opportunity to select one Offense and one Defense position. At each position the Coach will focus on footwork, technique, and other skills related to each position.  At the end of the day the campers participated in a 7 on 7 style scrimmage.



Guest appearances by:

• Grant Donaldson played OLB for the United States Air Force.  Defensive Player of the Game for the Cheez-it Bowl.

• Coach Tripp has trained 20 players that have made it to the NFL.

• Tyle Bonner - played LB/Safety at Bridgewater College.

• Ashton Siwald - currently plays Safety at Towson University,

• KJ Smothers - starting RB at Frostburg State.


In addition to local high school coaches there will be Guest Coaches each day:

• Coach Jordan Waters - D-Line Coach at Widener University.

• Thomas Goldsborough - QB for Rowan University in 2023.  Future QB for Stevenson University this 2024 season.

• Cole Donaldson - Starting LB at Frostburg State University.

We will work with your child to motivate them to excel in school, eat healthy,  and provide them with specialized athletic trainings to help boost their performance.  This program is for eighth grade students and higher.
